Frequently asked questions and helpful information for passengers
traveling to or from Williamsport Regional Airport.

Q.    Can I be dropped off and picked up at the terminal's front entrance?

A.    Yes, vehicles may stop briefly at the terminal's main entrance to drop off passengers and baggage.
But vehicles may not stop curbside for prolonged periods of time. No vehicle for baggage may be left unattended
in front of the terminal. Furthermore, Baggage may not be unattended inside the terminal at any time.

Q.    Has check in changed?

A.    The check-in procedure remains the same at Williamsport Regional Airport. However, because of greater scrutiny of passengers and baggage during check-in, passengers are advised to arrive at the airport 90 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
Prior to your return to Williamsport, passengers should confirm check-in requirements with the airport you will be departing from.

Q.    What do I need at check-in and what is the procedure?

A.    You need your airline ticket or e-ticket confirmation, and a valid government issued photo ID (a drivers license, passport, etc.). You will be asked several questions regarding your baggage and, in some cases, you baggage will be searched at the ticket counter, in your presence.
Passengers then undergo a "walk through" of a magnetometer and proceed into the Sterile Waiting Area. Each passenger is additionally checked with a metal detecting "wand" in the Sterile Waiting Area and must show their ID again before boarding the aircraft.
If you do not have a valid government issued photo ID, contact US Airways Express at (570) 368-2417 for assistance.

Q.    Has parking changed at Williamsport Regional Airport?

A.  For several weeks after the September 11 event, parking restrictions were in place.  However, after November 1, 2001, both short-term and long-term parking returned to normal at Williamsport Regional Airport.  The prohibition against unattended vehicles, curbside in front of the terminal entrance, is still in effect.  For more parking information, call (570) 368-1354.
